Strang Excavation + Concrete
Our team of skilled excavation and concrete professionals bring extensive knowledge and decades of experience in the Nantucket building industry to all of our projects.
Owner Ernie Strang, a Nantucket native, began his career in excavation and concrete working at Reis Trucking during the summer months in high school and college. After completing his Construction Management degree at the University of Nebraska, Ernie moved back to Nantucket to join Reis Trucking full time. He advanced quickly to become the Excavation Manager, and in 2019 purchased the excavation and concrete businesses to form Strang, LLC. Ernie is a dedicated member of the year-round island community, and is now raising another generation of Nantucket natives.
